Demolition work must still be carried out in accordance with the Australian Standard entitled Demolition of Structures (AS 2601 - 1991).  Refer to Chapter 8 –  part 8.6, clauses 246-256 of the OHS Regulation 2001.

There are also requirements for OHS management plans and the appointment of principal contractors where certain demolition work is carried out. 

Chapters 10 and 11 of the Regulation provide information about licensing and permit requirements for demolition work.
