How do I know if spray painting is effectively isolated from another process or other plant?

Spray painting is not effectively isolated if:

  • a substance from the spray painting can be inhaled by a person engaged in another process, or
  •  there is a risk that a substance from the spray painting process can be ignited by plant, machinery or equipment
