What happens once I have made an official complaint?
A Record of Complaint form will be completed by the person who receives the complaint. The complaint will then be allocated to an inspector. If a complaint is received by fax or mail, WorkCover will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within five working days.
An inspector must make an initial response to the complaint within 15 working days of receiving the complaint, however, the complaint may be responded to more quickly if the matter is urgent.
You will be advised of the outcome by the relevant inspector as soon as the investigation is completed.
