Eligibility for and lodging of a workers compensation claim Q7
As a casual employee or part-time employee, am I eligible for workers compensation?

It is compulsory for all employers to have Workers Compensation insurance policy covering all employees connected with NSW, including casual and part-time, for workers compensation.

Casual employees are entitled to claim workers compensation for the duration of the period they are incapacitated for work. They are also entitled to claim compensation for any permanent loss caused by the injury they sustained while in their casual job.
