The diverse manufacturing industry includes meat, poultry and seafood manufacturing, bread and pastry manufacturing, iron and steel manufacturing, and textile and fabric manufacturing. It also includes metal recyclers, forestry and logging. The industry employs approximately 11.2% of the NSW workforce.
