On 24 November 2004, a worker sustained fatal injuries when run over by a truck while he was rolling up a tarp near the trailer of his truck.
After a WorkCover investigation the defendant Toll Transport Pty Ltd t/as Toll Regional was charged with a breach of the OHS Act 2000 section 10(1).
On 20 May 2009 the defendant was convicted by the Court and fined $220,000. Judgment.
