Safe Working at Heights Guide

The Construction IRG has addressed the major issue of falls from a height by developing a guide for construction workers to enable them to make informed decisions about working at heights. 

Awareness material on the dangers associated with falls has been produced. Posters and stickers are included in the package. An information day was held to launch the falls prevention campaign.

Guide - Contractors Working in Railway Construction

A contractor’s guide to occupational health and safety is available from this website. The guide has been distributed to contractors working in railway construction and maintenance.

Injury management best practice project

Workplace injury management kits and best-practice guidance posters are being developed to improve return-to-work practices and workers compensation performance.

Housing Construction Training video

An induction training video that will assist in improving workplace safety on housing-construction sites has been produced.
