As in other industries, there are workplace hazards in the hair and beauty industries that can cause illness or injury to employees and visitors to the workplace. Hazards in the workplace can come from many sources. They can sometimes appear insignificant, such as a wet floor that hasn’t been wiped up, or a brush or comb that hasn’t been cleaned, through to the more obvious, such as chemicals in hair solutions.
