Injury Management Consultants Order An injury management consultant (IMC) is a registered medical practitioner who assists in the return to work process when differences arise between the nominated treating doctor, the employer, insurer and/or the injured worker. They assess the nature of the problem and attempt to mediate a solution through discussions with the nominated treating doctor. The Orders sets the maximum fee payable under the Act for services provided by an injury management consultant.
