Physiotherapists
Responsibilities

Registered physiotherapists can be approved by WorkCover by completing the WorkCover Outcomes training program. WorkCover-approved physiotherapists are trained to treat injured workers within a compensation environment, with a focus on achieving a safe and durable return to work.

All physiotherapists providing treatment to injured workers must follow administrative procedures developed in conjunction with the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Fees

WorkCover-approved physiotherapists are entitled to charge a higher fee for service delivery. Accounts for treatment services must be consistent with the WorkCover schedule of fees for physiotherapy services.

Resources

The searchable list of WorkCover-approved physiotherapists is intended for the use of insurers and does not show full contact details.
