Key changes 
Under the new NSW WorkCover Scheme arrangements, Agents have been appointed based on their demonstrated experience in claims and policy management and they will be reviewed on their ability to meet various performance and service standards. They will be required to demonstrate ongoing capacity, capability and performance – and must satisfy their contractual obligations.

The appointment of Agents under contracts will increase the level of competition and improve service standards within the NSW WorkCover Scheme. Over time, workers and employers will experience an improved level of service in the management of their claims and policies.
