Applications are now open for WorkCover’s 2009 mentor program. If you own a small business this is your opportunity to gain free one-on-one advice and assistance from a large business in your industry.
Places are limited with only 120 small business spots available.
Expression of interest is also being sought from large companies to mentor small businesses.
What is the mentor program?
Our mentor program connects small businesses with fewer than 20 employees (mentees) with large business mentors.
The program is free and provides small businesses with advice and practical assistance with occupational health and safety, workers compensation and injury management practices from a large business (mentor) in the same industry.
In 2009 this statewide program is open to small businesses in construction, manufacturing, retail, consumer services, transport, community services and agriculture industries
