What are the Small Business Forums?

Small Business Forums provide a link between small business owners and WorkCover NSW to determine how we can meet your needs and make sure our services are relevant to the local business community.

They are held across NSW and allow small business owners to work with WorkCover NSW to identify solutions, provide feedback and be up to date about decisions that may affect you.

How will the Small Business Forums benefit my business?

WorkCover NSW aims to assist you to keep your business safe and successful.
By participating in these forums you will be able to:

• contribute and be heard in relation to matters that affect your business
• learn more about workplace safety 
• improve OHS and workers compensation in your workplace
• find out what’s new at WorkCover NSW
• network with other small businesses.

Is there any cost involved?

The Small Business Forums are a FREE service designed to assist small business operators to contribute and be heard in relation to safety matters that affect them.

Who can participate?

WorkCover NSW aims to have adequate representation of small business owners across industry and regions, to reflect the diversity of the NSW business community.

I have an interest in small business. Can I apply?

WorkCover NSW would like to see small business owners from all industries and regions get involved. Membership in the Small Business Forums is aimed at small business owners and managers rather than staff representatives such as OHS officers, OHS committee members, or third party representatives such as accountants or financial advisors.

How much time is involved?

The Small Business Forums will meet four times per year at a time and place that is appreciative of the demands placed on small and medium businesses.
