You may be entitled to weekly payments when a workplace injury has resulted in a loss of earnings. However the amount of the weekly payment will vary.
Payments when working
If you return to work in suitable employment, you may be entitled to weekly payments.
Payments when not able to work
If you have no current work capacity as the result of a workplace injury you may be entitled to weekly payments.
Payments when work is not available
If you have current work capacity and suitable employment is not available, you may be entitled to receive weekly payments.
Weekly payments stopped
Weekly payments may be suspended, reduced or stopped if certain requirements are not met.
Payments after retirement
Weekly payments will generally stop on retirement however, necessary medical and related expenses may be payable for up to 12 months.
